Within the research network Europe-Japan, research groups of the University of Bonn cooperate with partners of UK, Japan and Spain, to develop new magnetic nanoparticles and to test them in biomedical applications.

Please find here more information about us and our cooperation partners.

In 2015, the Bonn Group established the Research Network aiming for the development of new multimodal magnetic nanoparticles and biomedical applications together with our international cooperation partners. Head of the German team is Prof. Alexander Pfeifer.

Our partner in Spain is the University of Zaragoza. The Spanish team is characterized above all by expertise in the field of hyperthermia, i.e. the use of MNPs, which can destroy the production of heat tumor tissue. Head of the Spanish team is Prof. Jesus M de la Fuente.
